Glen AvenuePeoria Heights, Illinois 61616NEWS RELEASEFee-paying days for Peoria Heights Community Unit School District #325 will be August 5th, August 6th, and 7th, anytime between 9:00 a.m., and 12:00 noon, also August 6th between 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.All new students in the district are encouraged to register as soon as possible. All students or parents should report at the above time to pay fees. If enrolling for the first time, a proof of birth must be furnished.On Friday, August 15th, Peoria Heights High School will be in session for orientation from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Physical education uniforms will be sold by Peoria Heights High School’s Letterman’s Club. These uniforms will be available on fee days. All students are required to have a uniform for physical education classes. Uniforms purchased in previous years are acceptable.On Friday, August 15th, Peoria Heights Grade School will be in session for pupils in kindergarten through eighth grades from 8:40 a.m. – 9:40 a.m. Monday, August 18th will be the first full day of school for all pupils of the District and hot lunches will be served.Bus service for Peoria Heights Grade School and Peoria Heights High School will begin Friday morning, August 15th. Bus route information will be distributed on fee-paying days.By State Law, physical examinations are required of all pupils upon entrance into kindergarten or first grade and into sixth grade and ninth grades, as well as pupils not previously enrolled in the district, also vision examinations will be required for pupils entering kindergarten, or upon first entry into an Illinois School. State Law requires pupils to have received proper immunization against communicable diseases before entering school.
