         Proposed Action: The Board of Education adopt the tentative budget for the

         2008-2009 school year and to direct the Secretary of the Board of Education

         to publish a legal notice of Public Hearing.         

        

  1. Teacher Contract:                  

         Proposed Action: The Board of Education offer a contract to Matt King to

         teach Social Studies at Peoria Heights High School for the 2008-2009 school

         year.

J.   Bid Opening:           

         Proposed Action: The Board of Education award bids for the purchase of (2)

         8 passenger vans.

                       

K.  Cancellation of School Board Meeting:        

         Proposed Action: The Board of Education cancel the next regular scheduled

         Board of Education Meeting of July 23, 2008.
