General Science

General Science is split into Earth Science which first semester covers energy, environment, maps, weather, earth history, tectonics, and rocks and Physical Science which second semester introduces basic chemistry and physics. Emphasis is upon vocabulary and organization with a number of laboratory activities. Students who take General Science as a freshman will take Biology as a sophomore.
